MEDICAL CAMP

1705 people availed of the services rendered at the Medical Camp, jointly organised by Shree Anandabawa Seva Sanstha and Fulchhab Manav Seva Trust, Rajkot.

The camp, organised to commemorate the 29th death anniversary of Late Shree Shantiprasadji Maharaj, was inaugurated by Shree Krishnamaniji Maharaj of Shree Pranami Sampraday. Mahantshree Jagdishdasji Maharaj of Kabir Ashram was the chairman of the function. Municipal Commissioner Shri Ashwinikumar and Maheshbhai Doshi, Editor of Fulchhab daily were the chief guests. Mahant Devprasadji Maharaj delivered the keynote address.

In this camp, patients were treated for opthalmic, ear-nose-throat, bones, padeatrics, gynac, kidney, skin, urological and general diseases by expert doctors. Sonographic and Pathological tests were conducted free of charges. Medicines were distributed, free of charges to all the patients.

 

 

 

JUVENILE DIABETIC CAMP.... 16TH OCTOBER 2005 – SUNDAY

On16th October - An unique juvenile diabetic camp was organised at Chitrakut Dham, 22 kms away from Jamnagar    with the help of Atul Motors, Anandabawa Kidney Diakysis  Centre and El Lilly India Ltd.

All the 22  patients with their parents started at 9am  from Annadabawa Kidney Dialysis Centre. Transportation  was provided by Atul Motors and Anandabawa Seva Sansatha Patients were welcomed by hot snacks and beverages ( Of  course - absoulately sugar free )

It was attended by Dr. Bansi Saboo ( Ahmedabad) Miss Priti Dave ( Diatitan - Rajkot), Rtn. Dr. Miten P. Mehta, Rtn.Milan C. Shah, Rtn. Dhirubhai Dodhia, Rtn. Rajen Trivedi, Dr. D. B. Jadeja           ( Pathologist - Anandabawa Kidney Dialysis Centre), Dr. J. M. Bhatt( Adm. Officer - Anandabawa Kidney Dialysis Centre) Dr. Bhadresh Vyas( Prof. of Pead - MPSMC, Jamnagar) & Dr.Maulik Shah( Asst. Prof of Pead - MPSMC  Jamanagar). Dr. Maulik Shah was the master of ceremony.

            Dr. Bansi Saboo and Miss Priti Dave gave primary   introduction and taught some tricks to handle diabetes in difficult situation which was followed by individual counselling.All the patients enjoyed beautiful lush green surrounding. They share their experince of battle aganist diabetes. At 3.30 pm, they went back after enjoying delicious food . Many important decisions were taken like - 1. To make diabetic patients directory so they can be informed in short time. 2 To issue identity card to all diabetic patients. 3 To make working committee and diabetic foundation  to look after interest of patients. 4 To arrange picnic with education programme atleast 2 - 3 times in a year. 5 To collect donation for poor patients. 6 To establish 2 centres in Jamnagar from which they will get all medicines and lab. investigations at reduced rate by showing their ID card

             We are extremely thankful to Shri Dharmendrabhai Chandra of Atul Motors. Dhimant Trivedi and Kaushik Sahani of El Lilly to make this camp successful one. El Lilly has promised to supply Insulin at the most affordable rate and has shown to interest to adopt poor patients. Shri Dharmendra Chandra has also shown his willingness to make the life of diabetic a better .
