Kidney Dialysis Centre
The number of patients suffering from renal diseases is increasing day by day in Saurashtra, more than any other part of Gujarat. This is mainly attributed to the hardness of drinking water in this region. Previously, patients from Porbander and Jamnagar had to travel all the way to Ahmedabad or Nadiad for the treatment of most of the renal diseases. It is almost impractical to reach these places as often as it takes 8-10 hours journey. Anandabava Seva Sanstha is determined to provide the best treatment for kidney diseases at the doorstep of Jamnagar. At present we are serving patients not only from Jamnagar, but also from Dwarka, Porbander, Morbi, Junagadh & most of other Saurashtra region. Future plans:- Param Pujya Bapushri and all the sevaks of Anandabava Sanstha have devoted all their time and energy to realize the dream project of a full fledged kidney institute which can look after medical as well as surgical part of all types of kidney diseases .The institute will be equipped with the most advanced instruments and an operation theatre for all types of renal surgeries. The nephrology unit will start with 8-10 dialysis machines and a specially trained nursing staff. Facilities available:- Our hospital was started in 21st May 2001 with 3 dialysis units. In last 42 months, it has grown up as one of the best renal care unit of Gujarat. At present our hospital is equipped with all the modern state of the art equipments to look after all types of kidney patients. We are also arranging educational seminars and picnic with family get together for kidney patients. We also award gifts to the transplanted and other who have defeated the disease. This has helped a lot to alleviate the fear of newly diagnosed renal patients and has able to clear doubts about dialysis. We have also started arranging regular CME programme for the doctors of Jamnagar city, focusing mainly on preventive aspects of various diseases and to elevate the quality of treatment at primary level.
We are working 24 hours a day and have overcome the time barrier. Eye Hospital
The staff consists of 2 ophthalmic surgeons, 2 O.P.D. assistants, 2 O.T. assistants and a receptionist The services rendered are daily OPD consultation of around 100 patients per day at a nominal charge of Rs.25/- only for new cases & Rs.10/- for old cases. Daily O.T. procedures of around 4 to 5 surgeries are performed. Eye surgeries include mainly cataract extraction, anti glaucoma surgeries, ptery gium extraction, chalagion I & c, squint surgery, DCR & other lid surgeries like entropion e, ctropion & lid growth removal. All surgeries are conducted at a charge of less then half as charged at private clinics. More over, more than 20% eye surgeries are conducted free of cost, the cost is borne by institute itself, or some local donor organizations & NGOs. Diagnostic camps are conducted every six months at rural as well as local levels, and patients are operated at our hospital. Every camp includes almost 100 – 125 surgical cases & 500 OPD patients. The hospital is equipped with three operating microscopes – zeiss, Topcon, Takagi, One phaco mulsi fication machine – OPSYS by Allegan, 1 autorefractometer, 1 kerotometer, 1 biometry machine and 1 lansometer. The facilities available here are a complete examination, diagnosis and treatment plan of all types or normal or abnormal conditions and diseases of the oral cavity. The general procedures available are, Tooth / root extraction 2. Removal of the teeth & filling by either cement, silver or tooth colored light cure material 3. root canal treatment, post and cure built up of fractured teeth. 4. Full cast crown and bridge preparation of gold, white metal and tooth coloured ceramic material. 5. Scaling, bleeching of the teeth, root planning of the teeth, treatment of periodontitis & flap surgery of the gums. 6. Preparation of partial as well as complete removable denture. 7 All types of intra oral xrays. The surgical treatments available are removal of impacted tooth, any cyst or tumour of the oral cavity, wiring or platting fixation of fractured jaw & preperosthetic surgery examination. Biopsy and diagnosis of any conditions of the oral cavity is also done. The average of daily patients is 15 and all services are provided at a very subsidized rate. The clinic has a full time dental surgeon and staff and all modern equipments. Pathology Laboratory
The reports are fully computerized. The blood and urine examinations of patients from our Kidney Hospital, the G.G.Hospital and private consultants are done at a very subsidized rate. We are doing various types of biochemistry, serological, hematology, enzymes, Harmones and microbiological works are done here. Lab has also tied up with other labs for specialized examinations. The total no of patients catered to date are 22052. The lab is taken care of by a full time pathologist, 2 technicians and a laboratory assistant.
Gujarati Samaj Portugal Hospital
Shri Anandabawa Seva Sanstha also serves the rural areas and tries to be helpful to the surrounding villagers. In the backward Taluka of Jamkalyanpar in Jamnagar District, at village Tankaria, having a population of 3000, where there was not even a primary health centre, with the kind cooperation of Portugal Gujarati Samaj, we have dedicated a hospital which serves 8 villages in the periphery and nearly 300 to 400 patients are treated in a month.
MOBILE UNIT At a distance of 85 kms. from Jamnagar, at Meghpar Titodi village, the Sanstha serves with a mobile unit, visiting once every week. Patients are treated and given medicines, free of cost. |

ANANDABAVA KIDNEY DIALYSIS CENTRE was inaugurated on 21st May
2001, as a result of the foresightedness of Mahant Shree Devprasadji
Maharajshri. It was perhaps the most needed medical faculty for the people
of Saurashtra- especially Jamnagar. 
Eye
hospital was established on 6th April 1996. It is specially
oriented to eye care services for financially poor patients, those who can
not afford quality care at private clinics.
