Shree Anadnabawa Seva Sanstha, a 350 year old social organisation is serving humanity and also towards the causes of environment and Gauseva (cow protection). To maintain the activities of the Sanstha, well wishers have donated it with land, in which the Sanstha preserves about 350 cows and with agriculture, grows crops and other agricultural yields to provide it to the Sanstha’s inmates, saints and the needy of the society.

In the last 15 years, to help the environment, we have undertaken tree plantations on a massive scale. With organic agriculture , we have grown vegetables and fruits for the Sanstha’s requirements. Science has proved that the fertilizers used in crops and the pesticides used in vegetables have spread diseases in human beings. Taking a clue from this, the Sanstha has adopted organic farming, that is gradually minimizing and doing away with the use of fertilizers and pesticides and instead, using native products like tobacco paste in water, cow urine and growing natural fruits on trees.

With drip irrigation, we have cultivated crops with scarce water and by installing solar pumps, we have saved on electricity.

The Sanstha also provides useful information and guidance to the neighboring farmers and also organises guidance seminars, inviting agricultural experts. The Sanstha has also erected check dams, bores and holes and borewells in villages and also water wells for cows and animals
